Laverne is a master woodworker who lives in Windom, Minnesota.
One of the blessings of being a pastor is that you get invited into peoples homes and people’s lives. Such was the case in my last week at American Lutheran and Bethany Lutheran in the Windom area.
I was blown away by Laverne’s mastery of his craft. He is quite possibly the best woodworker I have ever met.
It was a joy to take a tour of his basement — with all the wonders they held. (not all of them wood working projects too) These pictures are only a fraction of that. It was a great gift to get to know Laverne, Alice and all the folks at ALC and BLC.
