This afternoon had the privilege of visiting with a neighbor of one of our members who is in hospice care. It was a meaningful experience to offer a prayer, anoint them, and sing a hymn at their bedside. I want to express my gratitude to all of you who share in this ministry with me.
Even though in this moment, I was the one who visited them, I know that your prayers and support accompany me on these visits. It’s a reminder that as a congregation, we are ministering to our community in profound ways, even when we can’t be physically present.
